3.1 The AC adaptor

N.B. DO NOT INSERT THE AC ADAPTOR INTO ANY OF THE 3 CONNECTOR PLUGS! THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR PRODUCT. THE MANUFACTURER AND RESELLER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED DUE TO INCORRECT USAGE OF THE AC ADAPTOR OR THE USE OF THIRD PARTY AC ADAPTORS.
3.2 Connector slices
Do not try to force products onto any of the connector slices. Make sure that the connector slice is compatible with your designated product. See point 2.1 to check product compatibility of each connector slice. Do not try to reverse any polarities on any electronic item when inserting your product onto the connector slice – this might cause damage to the Powerdock unit.
3.3 When charging a new electronic product
Some manufacturers of electronic products such as mobile phones and other devices, recommend to charge the battery continuously for the first 10-14 hours. Crest recommends that for this purpose you should use the original power supply, supplied with the product.
3.4 Flashing LED light
If the green LED light is beginning to flash while charging 3-4 products at the same time, you may need to remove one of the items, due to potential overload and overheating. The product has a built in fuse to cut this overload, but we suggest removing 1 product for a safer charge and for a longer lifespan of the powerdock.
3.5 General safety information
- Extreme temperatures, vibration and shock should be avoided as these may cause damage to the unit.
- When cleaning the casings, use a soft damp cloth only. Do not wet the exposed connectors or AC jacks of the product. Do not use solvents or scouring agents as they may mark the casing. Make sure the power is
disconnected when cleaning.
- Do not spill any liquid on the charging unit. If it happens, unplug the AC adaptor, remove any electronic devices that might be connected, remove all connector slices and let the unit dry for at least 24 hours before trying to turn it on again. Do not use any external method to dry the unit, such as ovens or hair dryers.
- The unit and AC adaptor may become warm during charging. Remember to allow good ventilation during and after charging.
- Always remember to TURN OFF the unit when no electronic devices are connected. If the unit is not in use for long periods of time, unplug the AC adaptor from the power outlet.
- Do not expose the unit to extreme and sudden temperature changes. This may damage the unit.
